The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Men's Basketball team fell to Mesabi Range 86-80 in overtime of the consolation semifinals in the Region XIII Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams' season ends with a 16-13 record.
Anoka-Ramsey played seven games that went to overtime or double overtime on the season, with a 3-4 record in those games.
After going ahead 13-9 on a Collin Price field goal, the Golden Rams were outscored 13-2 over the next three minutes.
A Price three-pointer pulled Anoka-Ramsey within 37-31 with 3:27 to play in the half but Mesabi ended the half on a 12-4 run to go into the break with a 49-35 lead.
Anoka-Ramsey chipped away at the deficit in the second half.
Brandon Hixson connected on a jumper to pull within 56-50 with 11:53 to play.
A three-pointer from Tyler Matsen with 7:23 left kept the Golden Rams within striking distance down 64-58, followed by a tip-in by Falmata Tula to pull within 64-60.
Another three from Price and a layup from Tula cut the deficit to 68-66 with 2:59 left in regulation.
After two Mesabi free throws, Tula would score again with Harley Shear knocking down two free throws and the score was tied 70 apiece with 44 seconds left.
Mesabi scored on their next possession to go up two, and Tula would drive the length of the court for a tying layup with eight seconds left and the game went to overtime.
Mesabi struck first and led 79-78 with 1:20 to play, but three Mesabi free throws extended the lead to 82-78.
Tula scored another layup to cut the deficit to two, but Mesabi sealed the game at the free throw line.
Anoka-Ramsey shot 48.5 percent from the field but were outrebounded 18-11 on the offensive end and committed 17 turnovers.
Price finished with 20 points.
Tula scored 17 and pulled in seven rebounds.
Shear scored 14 to go with seven rebounds.
Mamadou Ngom scored 11 points.
Matsen chipped in with eight points.
