The Anoka-Ramsey Women's Soccer team picked up their first win of the season, 7-3 over Lake Superior College on Sunday afternoon in Duluth.
The Golden Rams took a 4-3 lead into halftime thanks to two goals from Sierra Dehmer, and one each from Madison Lindemoen and Illyssa Inamagua.
Dehmer added a third goal early in the second half with Lindemoen scoring in the 70th minute. Dehmer would add a fourth goal in the 73rd minute.
Hannah Pekarek picked up an assist on Dehmer's first goal, while Evelyn Lopez Garcia and Inamagua also added assists.
Evelyn Swanson had six saves in goal.
This was the first win at Anoka-Ramsey for head coach Tim Notz. "Overall it felt good for us to get a win today and our ability to control the game through our midfield was much better," said Notz. "The girld played on turf for the first time this season in hot, windy conditions, so it was a well earned victory for us."
The Golden Rams are 1-3 on the season and will travel to Rochester on September 25.
