Samantha Doucette enters her fifth season on the sideline for the Golden Rams in 2026-27.

Coach Doucette was the interim head coach for the 2022-23 season, guiding the Golden Rams to a 23-10 overall record.

Anoka-Ramsey finished that season with a NJCAA Region XIIIB Championship, advancing the NJCAA National Tournament where the Golden Rams took fifth place.

The 2024-25 season saw the Golden Rams finish as NJCAA Region XIIIA Champions, and advancing to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament where they finished 3rd.  

Coach Doucette has developed numerous All-MCAC, All-Region, and NJCAA All-America players during her tenure with the Golden Rams.

"I'm happy to have Sam back to lead the Women's Basketball program," said Director of Athletics Jessica Pelzel.  "Her enthusiasm and drive will help sustain the competitiveness of the Anoka-Ramsey program.  She knows what it takes to compete in the tough MCAC Southern Division and I'm confident she will work hard to keep Anoka-Ramsey at the top."
