Anoka-Ramsey Softball player Emma Bright was named the NJCAA DIII Player of the Week for her performance on the field last week.

Bright had 14 hits in 23 at-bats for a .609 average which included three doubles, three home runs, and a triple.

The national leader in stolen bases with 75, Bright swiped 12 last week and scored 13 runs while driving in nine at the plate.  

Bright is batting .513 on the season and leads the nation in runs scored.

Anoka-Ramsey is 34-9 overall, 14-0 in MCAC games, and ranked #6 in the latest NJCAA poll.
