Anoka-Ramsey Softball players Emma Bright and Molly Gross earned recognition from the MCAC for their performances last week on the field.

Bright was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week after batting .609 with 14 hits in 24 at-bats.  Bright had three doubles, one triple, three home runs and nine RBI while scoring 13 runs and stealing 12 bases.

Bright leads the nation in stolen bases with 75 and is first in runs scored with 76.

Gross was named MCAC Southern Division Pitcher of the Week with a 3-0 record.  Gross gave up just one run while striking out 28 batters and walking just one.

Gross is third nationally in ERA at 1.43 and third in strikeouts with 169.

The Golden Rams are on a 28 game winning streak and ranked #6 in the NJCAA.
