Emma Bright Named NFCA Golden Shoe Winner

Anoka-Ramsey Softball player Emma Bright was named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Golden Shoe award winner, sponsored by New Balance, as the nation's top outfielder in NJCAA Division III.

Bright was a perfect 42 for 42 on stolen bases this season, and had a .610 batting average which ranked second nationally.  She also ranked second in the nation in triples with seven.

Bright previously was named a NFCA All-American, was MCAC All-Southern Division, and was named to the NJCAA Region XIIIA All-Tournament team.

The Golden Rams were 17-11 on the season and won the MCAC Southern Division title.
