The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Golden Rams extended their winning streak to 8 games this past Saturday, May 1, with a sweep of the M-State Spartans by the scores of 23-2 and 13-1. Both games were completed after 5-innings.

"We played very well on Saturday," said Head Coach Dave Alto. "We had 39 hits overall, only committed one error, and pitched very effectively. I am very pleased with the progress that we continue to make each time these young women hit the field to play. We consistently talk about getting better every day, and I can honestly say that this is what this team does."

The Golden Rams are now 15-4 (9-1, 1st place in MCAC Southern Division) on the season.

Next up for the team are a couple of non-division games away against the Bethel JV on Monday, May 3.
