Anoka-Ramsey freshman Emma Bright was named the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week for her performance on the softball field this past week.

The Anoka native had a stand-out week by hitting 11 for 15 and stealing ten bases in ten attempts.  Bright leads all of NJCAA Division III with 14 stolen bases on the season.

Bright drove in six runs for the Golden Rams, while also walking three times, as Anoka-Ramsey won all four games last week.  They have since picked up another win this week, 10-5 over Rainy River, to run their record to 6-3 overall.
