The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Soccer team picked up their first victory of the season, 6-2 over upstart program Alexandria Tech.
The Legends are in their first year of having a men's soccer program and jumped out to a 1-0 lead six minutes into the match.
From there the Golden Rams took control, scoring six unanswered goals, four by Jafaar Abdulrahman who also assisted on another.
"I was very impressed with Alexandria Tech, especially their forwards," said Golden Ram coach Qassim Ilmi. "They gave us trouble all night. I am extremely proud of my boys because it's not easy being down a goal so early and to score six after that is remarkable."
Anoka-Ramsey improves to 1-1 overall on the season and will host NJCAA Division II program Southeast Community College (NE) on Saturday at 2pm.
