The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Soccer team concluded a successful first year under head coach Qassim Ilmi with a runner-up finish in the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament.

In the semifinals, the Golden Rams defeated host school Harper College on penalty kicks after the teams finished regulation and two overtime periods in a 1-1 tie.

Anoka-Ramsey then squared off against perennial NJCAA Division III power Dallas College-Richland in the championship game, ultimately falling 4-1.

The Golden Rams finish with a 9-3-1 overall record which included an eight-game winning streak.
