Men's Soccer Falls 3-0 in District Championship

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Men's Soccer team fell 3-0 to Richland College in the District Championship game on Saturday evening at the University of Northwestern.

The normally explosive Golden Ram offense was unable to get anything going on that end of the pitch as they were shutout for just the second time this season.

Richland entered the game ranked #3 in the nation.

Richland struck in the 17th minute and added late goals in the 70th and 85th minutes.

The Golden Rams came into the match averaging over six goals per game, while allowing less than one scored per game.
