Rain Shortens Game, Golden Rams Fall to Century

On a cold and rainy afternoon, Anoka-Ramsey Community College fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-1 loss to the Century College Ducks on Tuesday.

Century College scored on a single by Justin Baehler, a single by Ben Clapp, a groundout by Wright, a single by Xander Paar, and a single by Mckevitt in the first inning.

Anoka-Ramsey struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Century College Ducks, giving up nine runs.

Chad Fox earned the win for Century College Ducks. Fox surrendered one run on six hits over five innings, striking out seven. Matt Wallace threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Hunter Smith took the loss for Anoka-Ramsey. Smith surrendered six runs on six hits over one inning.

Century College hit two home runs on the day. Carter Shook had a homer in the third inning. Wright had a dinger in the fourth inning.

Brandon Watkins went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Golden Rams in hits.

The game was called early after the 6th inning, due to rain, and was logged as an official game.
