Anoka-Ramsey Community College announced today that they will not be holding competitive men's and women's basketball seasons in 2020-2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and increasing case numbers in Minnesota.
"I know this decision is disappointing for our student-athletes and coaches, but the exponential growth in cases and the physical health of our players, coaches, and community was our primary concern," said Steve Crittenden, Interim Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.
At the moment, baseball and softball will continue as planned in the spring, with ongoing discussions as the start of their respective seasons nears.
