In what has become a trend during the 2018-2019 season, Anoka-Ramsey guard Mikayla Homola was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week for her performance in two Golden Ram wins last weekend.
This is the fourth time this season Homola has earned the honor.
In a 91-80 win over Hibbing Homola scored a season-high 40 points on 14 of 31 shooting, making five threes and 7 of 10 free throws.
In a 74-46 win over St. Catherine's Homola tallied 30 points and ten steals making 12 of 26 field goals including four threes.
Homola leads the Southern Division in scoring at 27.2 points per game, and ranks sixth in the country in points per game.
