Baseball Earns Sweep of Western Tech

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Baseball team swept Western Tech by scores of 6-2 and 12-2.

In the first game the Golden Rams scored single runs in the 2nd, 4th, and 5th innings before tacking on three runs in the 6th.

Austin Greiner drove in the first run in the second inning, then added another RBI in the 4th inning for a 2-1 lead.

Jake Hansen hit a three-run home run in the 6th inning for a 6-1 Golden Ram lead.

Hansen also earned the win on the mound going seven innings with two runs and six hits, striking out nine and walking none.

In game two Anoka-Ramsey scored in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th innnings to build a 10-0 lead.

Levi Falde singled in the 2nd inning to drive in the first two Golden Ram runs.

In the 5th the Golden Rams put five runs on the board thanks to singles by Ryan Lust, Cody Herrmann, and Cody Wiskur.

Austin Greiner threw five innings giving up just one run and five hits to earn the win.
