The Health and Wellness Center (HWC), located on the Coon Rapids campus, provides health and fitness opportunities for students, employees, and the community. Currently, there are no other sports facilities in the northern Minneapolis suburbs that provide the opportunities of Anoka-Ramsey's Health and Wellness Center.
Numerous Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) classes are held within the HWC along with the offices of HPER Faculty, Athletic Department Staff and Coaches, and the HWC Director and Manager.
The facility features:
- 5,000 square foot Fitness Center
- 4 full-size volleyball courts
- 4 full-size basketball courts with adjustable basket heights
- Walking Track
- Mezzanine Fitness Area
- Fitness Studio
- Batting Cages
- Classroom Space
- Meeting Space
- Six Locker Rooms
- Concession Stand
- Athletic Training Room
- Offices of HPER, Athletics, and the Health and Wellness Center

All current Anoka-Ramsey students and employees have memberships to the Health and Wellness Center and can use the facility free of additional charge.
Community members (non-ARCC students and employees) can use the Walking Track for a small fee, but cannot use the Fitness Center or Mezzanine, nor participate in Open Gym; please visit the Rental Information page for more details.
Users of the facility must have a Membership Profile/Liability Waiver on file at the front desk.
